Collaboration and approvals

Approvals that follow the exact version.

Give every contributor the right role, route posts through internal review and, where a brand needs it, client sign-off. Change a post and its approvals start again.

Roles and permissions

Everyone does their part, and only their part.

Give each person a role on each brand. Writers draft, publishers schedule, analysts read results and clients review what you send them. Every permission is checked on the server, not just hidden in the interface.

Strategist

Plans and writes content, submits it for review and reads results.

Organisation roles

Owner, admin, member and client, for the organisation that holds all your brands.

A role per brand

Brand roles set what each person can do on each brand they work on.

Checked on the server

Permissions are enforced by the server, and each organisation's data is isolated in the database.

Review stages

Internal first, then the client.

Every post is reviewed by your team. Each brand also has its own rule for whether the client must sign off before anything can be scheduled.

Note for the writer (required)

Explain what needs to change

A note is needed before you can request changes.

Request changes

Feedback that says what to fix

  • Reviewers either approve or request changes. Requesting changes needs a note.
  • Each network version is reviewed on its own, so the Instagram cut can go back while LinkedIn moves on.
  • Only approved content can be scheduled or published.
How a post moves

One clear state for every version.

Each network version of a post carries its own status, from draft to published. Pick a path to see how it moves.
  1. 1

Draft. A writer saves the post as a draft, with a version for each network.

  2. 2

In review. It's submitted for review: your team first, then the client if the brand requires it.

  3. 3

Approved. Every required reviewer approves this exact version.

  4. 4

Scheduled. A publisher schedules it at a local time in a chosen time zone, or publishes now with a confirmation.

  5. 5

Publishing. Trabbly sends it to the network and records the attempt with the network's response.

  6. 6

Published. The network accepts the post.

Approval means your team and client agreed. It doesn't guarantee a network will accept the post: if a network refuses it, the post shows as Failed with the network's reason.

Version pinning

Change the post, and approval starts again.

Every decision is tied to the exact caption, format, account and media it covered. Any edit creates a new version and sends it back to review, so nobody signs off one thing and publishes another.
  • Pinned to the version

Caption, format, account and media: a decision covers exactly what the reviewer saw.

  • Edits reset approvals

Any edit makes a new version and resets that network's approvals.

  • Old decisions refused

An approval sent for an earlier version isn't recorded.

  • Per network

Each network version carries its own status and its own approvals.

Client portal

Clients see what you send, nothing more.

Clients review in their own portal. They never see your workspace or your other clients, and they don't count as team members.

Your agency name, logo and colour replace Trabbly’s across the portal and in the invitations clients receive.

Each brand decides whether client approval is needed at all.
